I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where I graduated from  Edward R. Murrow High School. Furthering my education took me to The  Lincoln University, the premier Historically Black College, in Chester  County, Pennsylvania, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in  Political Science. I then entered the graduate program at the University  of the District of Columbia, Washington, DC, in the discipline of Urban  Policy. 

My lifelong dream was to become an attorney, and in  December 2001, proudly earned the Doctorate of Juris Prudence from Texas  Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law. 

Since  licensing, I have devoted my law practice in the endeavors of  Discrimination, Civil Rights, and the representation of persons accused  of crimes.  I am licensed in the State of Texas and in the Federal Court  system.  I have tried and been involved in litigation involving Federal  death penalty cases, police misconduct and civil rights violations,  discrimination, and represented persons across the State of Texas  accused of crimes and administrative violations.

I am a devoted  member of the Nation of Islam, studying under the teachings of the  Honorable Elijah Muhammad as now taught by the Honorable Minister Louis  Farrakhan, and am a prominent staff member of the Nation of Islam’s  Office of General Counsel.

My love and devotion to the practice  of law is credited to the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, the  Honorable Craig A. Washington, and my proud West Indian heritage. None  of my successes, now or in the future, would be possible were it not for  my faith and belief in Allah, to whom all praises are forever due.
